Ivanna Villanueva lives in Miami. She is a businesswoman, media and entertainment industry professional, a trained chef, and a social worker. She takes pride in following the footsteps of her father and large media industry entrepreneur Luis Villanueva.

She wanted to help her father in business. Hence she joined the St. Thomas University as a full-time student to acquire a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Media. She learned everything essential for the media and entertainment industry.

After obtaining the degree, she joined her fathers SOMOS group of companies as an employee. She started learning the minute details involved in every process of the industry. She learned about the issues faced at the ground level and their solutions.

She developed a complete understanding of the nature of her fathers business. She served as an employee for more than three years in the SOMOS group of companies. She later went on to become co-founder of a new venture, DogHub.

DogHub provides the service of training current and future dog owners. It helps them take better care of their pet. It gives knowledge as well as tools for it. It is the one-stop service that provides solutions to all concerns of dog owners.

She is a graduate in Chef, Cooking and Related Culinary Arts from the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. Following her passion for restaurant management, she is preparing to open her restaurant Bread Cycle in Miami.

Her husband and Chef Nelson Javier Fernandez is accompanying her in the venture of Bread Cycle. Her restaurant will serve healthy and unique dishes based on Mediterranean cuisine. She aims to franchise the concept of her restaurant to other cities.

Ivanna Villanueva is an active social worker

Ivanna dedicates time to the social activities conducted by the Missionaries Of Charity. St. Teresa of Kolkata founded this religious congregation in 1950. This Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary served the poorest of the poor in India.

St. Teresa of Kolkata opened the home for the poor in Miami with the help of four sisters in 1981. The Missionaries of Charity run more than 600 homes for the poor across the globe. The priority of this organization is to take care of the spiritual and material needs of the poor.

Ivanna is a volunteer at the Miami Missionaries that help people in the poorest neighbourhood in Miami. She allocates time to volunteer in different activities conducted by the Miami Missionaries such as educating children, running the soup kitchen, and so on.

The Missionaries of Charity provide services to people of all religions and that too without cost. Volunteers like Ivanna play an important role in providing the services. She uses her culinary skills in running the Missionaries’ soup kitchen.

The soup kitchen is open six days a week and provides meals to more than 300 people. Ivanna extends help at the soup kitchen. She feeds the poor and even goes on the streets to distribute the leftover food to the homeless.
